The pre-school program

“Maria Montessori enjoined teachers to become scientists of the child, hence to follow her footsteps and to continue studying, observing and engaging in fruitful dialogue throughout their lives.”

Renilde Montessori, granddaughter of Dr. Maria

Welcome to the Polish Montessori Institute! Never before has the need to fully and completely educate young children been so great. For more than 100 years teachers have studied and implemented the Montessori methods of education. The Polish Montessori Institute is a part of this great tradition and offers a program of Montessori education leading to a career in Montessori early childhood education (ages 2 ½ through 6 years).

At PMI, we believe that the task of the adult is not to amuse the child but rather to prepare the environment, leader the child to it and assist in the unfolding of the child’s being.
Students in our teacher education program learn the skills to help children develop personal responsibility and strong self-esteem.

Our priority is to provide you with a professional program of the highest standards. We trust that that your success in the Polish Montessori Institute will translate into the greatest opportunities for you – both personally and professionally.
